Accessibility Statement
This website is built so that people using a screen reader, screen magnification or only a keyboard can read about garages and reach Garage Builders Rockland as easily as anyone else. We work toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA and check pages against it when they change.
If the estimate request, a town map or any page gets in your way, email [email protected] or phone us, and a fix gets started. A phone call does everything the forms do, from describing your garage project to setting up a visit to your lot.
Effective November 2, 2026. Last updated November 2, 2026.
Planning a garage should not require perfect eyesight, a steady mouse hand or the newest browser. This statement sets out the standard we build to, the features already working, the gaps we know of and the way to report a problem.
How We Work
Every page is checked for accessibility at its first draft and again at every later change. Each barrier we find, or that a visitor tells us about, remains an open item until the fix is live.
Guidelines We Use
Our target is the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at Level AA. We make no promise of full conformance, as even a careful review can overlook a barrier, but our layouts, colors and code follow the guidelines.
What Is Already in Place
- Headings that step down each page in order, and link wording that names where each link leads
- Written descriptions for meaningful photos, a label you can see on every contact form field, and estimate request photo cards you tick the way you would tick any checkbox
- Colors chosen to pass Level AA contrast, a keyboard-operable consent window, and motion that halts when your device asks for less of it
Known Gaps
Our town maps are tough to work with by screen reader, or by keyboard alone. Every town on a map is also written out as an ordinary link on the same page, so passing over the map loses nothing.
Our contact page's directions link leads to Google Maps, along with whatever accessibility Google's site does or does not offer. The phone number and office address are written on that page as text, and the email address is right here on this one.
Report a Problem
Name the page that caused the trouble and the task you had in mind. Email [email protected] or call the number in every page's footer, and we will look for the cause and start on a fix.
If a Form Fails You
A stubborn form never has to hold you up, since a phone call starts a garage estimate equally well. Give us your town and a word about the garage, and the visit to your lot can be booked during that call.
